Saint's Row finally (FINALLY) unlocked on Friday for those of us in Europe. I beat it by Sunday. It's awesome. If you enjoyed the wanton crazy of Saint's Row the Third, this is more and bigger. Elysium and That One Plot Hole

Man, I love Neill Blomkamp. I am so, so happy he is making movies. Amongst my reasons: when I was working on Companion eight years ago, I imagined a reveal when the characters burst out into the daylight, where the camera flies back to reveal that they are on one roof of a massive grown-together structure that used to be separate skyscrapers. I was delighted to see a *good* version of what I tried to do in the movie, as an establishing shot. The Reasons why Ghostbusters is Popular

Bill Murray! Post done. Wait, wait. If it's Bill Murray, why are we worshipping Ghostbusters and not Space Jam? I have a two simple theories about maintaining longevity with popular entertainment. This theory encompasses a number of shows, movies and books. That list includes a lot of my favorite entertainment, like Ender's Game, Fight Club, and Adventure Time.
